Reinstalled the app and got a new Device ID?
Access is by a security code locked to the device it was issued to. One subscription covers two devices — activate each with its own code, requested from that device. Codes are emailed to you. On iPhone/iPad, activate in the same app you requested from.
FOR REFERENCE ONLY. This tool must NOT be used for operational purposes. The official hard copy of the OFP must be used for flight operations. For individual use only.

Load an OFP

Drop an OFP file here or tap to choose  (.pdf or .txt)
PDF text is extracted in-browser via PDF.js (needs internet the first time). Your last OFP is remembered until you load another.
Tip: on Android you can open your OFP email, tap Share and choose Sky Matrix to load it straight in. On iPhone/iPad, open the PDF and use the file picker above.
Load an OFP, then tap Sky Matrix AI.

Send feedback

Tell us what to improve or report a problem — it goes straight to the Sky Matrix team.

Display & accessibility

Make the text larger for glare, vibration or low vision. Applies everywhere in the app and is remembered on this device.

100%

Sky Matrix also honours your device’s Reduce Motion setting — with it on, all animation is switched off.

Back up & move your setup

Saves your profile, checklists, announcements, documents and preferences to one file — then restores them on another device, or on this one after a reinstall. On your device, Export opens your share sheet, so you can save straight to iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or Files, or send it to yourself.

Not included: your loaded OFP and briefing, your licence code and your PIN. Flight plans hold other crew members’ names and roster details, so they never travel in a settings file.

My other device

Your subscription covers two devices. Save your setup here, then load it on the other one.

My account

Signed in as on device .

Log out signs you out of this device and returns you to the access screen. Your Device ID stays the same, so your access code will still work when you sign back in — and your checklists, announcements, documents and profile are kept.
Log out & erase my data also deletes everything stored on this device: your briefing, profile, checklists, announcements and documents. It cannot be undone — export a backup first if you want to keep them.

Hand over this flight

Going for rest? This passes the flight as it stands to the pilot relieving you — captured times, every nav-log actual you have entered, the rest plan, weights and notes — so they carry on from where you stopped. It is a file, not a code: it works with no internet, over the ocean. Send it by AirDrop, Nearby Share, or any way you already share a file.

Load an OFP first — there is no flight to hand over yet.

Taking over the flight

Open the file the other pilot sent you. You will see exactly what is in it before anything is changed on your device.

A handover replaces your entries for this flight with the sender’s. That is deliberate — one set of figures, not a mix of two. Check the summary before you accept.

OFP document — this flight

Only share with crew operating this flight — the plan carries the roster and crew names, and they already hold this OFP.

The original OFP document used to build this flight's briefing.

No OFP document loaded yet. Load an OFP on the Load tab.

Share with another pilot

Creates a 6-digit code, valid 15 minutes, usable once. They enter it on their own device.

Briefings are never shared this way — a flight plan carries other crew members’ names and roster details, and they have not agreed to it. To pass on one specific briefing, use Share this briefing with my crew on the OFP card above. To hand the live flight to the pilot relieving you — times, nav-log actuals, rest plan and notes — use Hand over this flight at the top of this page; that one needs no internet.

Checklists

Create multiple named checklists. Tap a tab to open it; use ‹ › to reorder. Saved on this device. Reset ticks before each flight.

Checklist maker

Turn any document into a checklist — PDF, Word, photo or text. Review the steps, then add them to your Checklist above.

Crew roster

Upload a crew roster — photo, PDF, Word or text. Sky Matrix AI reads the flight-deck and cabin names by rank (Captain / CP / Capt · FO / SFO / SO · CSD / CS / LCC / LC).

Dangerous Goods — Emergency Response drill codes

Reference only — the aircraft ERG and your operator's DG manual take precedence.
These are ICAO emergency response DRILL CODES (the code shown on the NOTOC), not UN hazard classes. Based on the ICAO Doc 9481 Emergency Response Guidance for Aircraft Incidents Involving Dangerous Goods structure. Sky Matrix does not carry a controlled copy and does not track amendments — always work from the ERG carried on the aircraft and your operator's procedures. If anything here differs from those, they are correct and this is not.

Pick the drill code from the NOTOC, and/or a drill letter, to see the associated response.

Announcement Maker

Name it Welcome to auto-show on the Departure page, or Descend for the Arrival page — both are auto-filled for the current flight. Any other name (Boarding, Delay, Diversion…) is saved for quick access.

Tap Sky Matrix AI on any saved announcement to expand it and fill it with the current flight's details.

Admin documents

Documents sent to you by the administrator. They stay here on this device until you delete them. Tap a document to open it.

No admin documents yet.

Inflight Display no OFP loaded

Live flight progress. Takeoff time drives the rest window and the checklist reminders. Destination & trip auto-fill from the OFP.

Captured on the Departure page

Take-off is stamped on the Departure page and landing on the Arrival page — the page you are already on at the time. Banners: Top of Climb, then a check every set interval after takeoff. Destination resolves automatically from the OFP.

GPS auto take-off & landing

Captured on the Arrival page

Uses this device's own GPS (the built-in GPS, or a paired Bluetooth receiver like a Garmin GLO if one is feeding iOS Location Services — whichever is available). Auto-stamps take-off only when ground speed stays above 100 kt and the device has climbed above the recorded aerodrome elevation — so a rejected take-off is not mistaken for a departure — then jumps to Live. Landing needs a sustained speed below 100 kt at aerodrome level, so a GPS dropout in the cruise is not mistaken for a touchdown; it then jumps to Arrival. Times come from internet UTC and drive the NAV LOG. Loose fixes are ignored. The START and LDG buttons remain the primary method — this is a convenience, not a certified sensor.

Aircraft / flight lookup

Enter an ATC callsign (e.g. ABC123) for airline + route + live aircraft, or a registration (e.g. G-ABCD) for the exact type & operator. Most complete while the flight is airborne. Needs internet.

Airport weather & NOTAMs

Live METAR / TAF / D-ATIS for any airport (needs internet), colour-coded with the active time window. If a live METAR / TAF is unavailable it falls back to your loaded OFP. NOTAMs are read from your OFP and colour-coded (red = active now, green = clear, amber = window). Enter an ICAO and tap a button.

Inflight Rest no OFP loaded

Rest window auto-builds from takeoff + OFP trip time: rest start = takeoff + 15 min; rest end = takeoff + trip − 60 min. Times are editable.

Splits the available window between crew — it does not assess legality. Sky Matrix does not know your operator's FTL scheme, augmentation or minimum-rest rules. Check the split against your company FTL and roster before using it.
